Here's a link to a well-made video of Stephen Kay demonstrating some MS-20EX and PolysixEX Programs.
http://www.karma-lab.com/vp/klvp.html?playID=23
Although the demo was made using OASYS, it totally applies to Kronos.
To make it easy to follow along, here's the list of Programs he demoed in this particular video, as they appear in Kronos. You can pause the video at any time and experiment on your own. Use the on-screen pads on the Common-->Pads page if you don't have a separate pads device connected via USB.
Note that for all programs in the video, Stephen had Karma On. So, if you are following along with his video, you would want to make sure Karma is On for each Program. (If Karma is Off, press the Karma button and the LED will light.)

I remember spending the better part of 2007 watching those videos before I was able to buy the Oasys! _________________ Paul: Don't be nervous.

Steve, thanks for mentioning these again and providing the all-important cross-reference to the correct locations in the Kronos. I mentioned these way back when the Kronos was first released, but I haven't watched them myself in a long time and I had forgotten how involved I got with the whole thing. Really shows the power of KARMA as an interactive phrase sequencer, just working with one module (if I say so myself). _________________ Stephen Kay - KARMA Developer • Karma-Lab - karma-lab.com

Can't wait to find time to explore Karma.
A bit scary I must admit. |
