Hi all.
Any insight into the meaning behind the name Krome?
KRONOS, OASYS, Triton, Trinity are all powerful words that have a lot of meaning on many levels, but ….Krome ?
I'd say something of it was a Silver keyboard
Regards
Sharp.

Oh, that's good - she's on form tonight!!
Chroma in Greek means 'colour'. Maybe the Krome brings colour to your music? (Even if it's just the wee blue LED in Korg logo!) _________________ Plugged in: Fantom 8, Jupiter-X, Jupiter 80, System-8, JD-XA, V-Synth GTv2, FA-06, SE-02, JU-06A, TR-09, VT-4, Go:Livecast, Rubix44, Shure SM7b, Push2, Ableton 11 Suite, Sibelius, KRK Rokit 5, |

The cynic in me thinks its simply called that, to make people who have heard about the Kronos but are new to this hobby, to think they are getting a cut down version with the new Krome, rather than a souped up M50. |

As Ojust said its simply a deception, KROme-KROnos into pulling people
into thinking they are getting a Triton-TR difference which is not the case. _________________ http://www.basaristudios.com

Perhaps Korg Krew wrote down the words 'Kronos' and 'M3'.
Playing around, they then wrote down KroM3... yay; Krome! _________________ Plugged in: Fantom 8, Jupiter-X, Jupiter 80, System-8, JD-XA, V-Synth GTv2, FA-06, SE-02, JU-06A, TR-09, VT-4, Go:Livecast, Rubix44, Shure SM7b, Push2, Ableton 11 Suite, Sibelius, KRK Rokit 5, |

Possible that like Microsoft... Korg is just really late with their KROnos Millennium Edition. Unfortunately, we know how that Windows ME release went. _________________
