I think this is going to be a big seller for Korg. The price is right and the
feature are good enough and light weight for gigging. When you get ready to sell to get the next new model and there is always a new model coming out.
You will be able to sell it much easier with less loss when you move up to the next new model. Better not to put so much money into these boards
nowadays with everything changing so fast. Looks like the way to go for a nice board all the way up to 88keys too. Look out Tyros4

IMHO the Krome is the next logical upgrade to the M50. However, I'm disappointed that Korg didn't go down the Kurzweil PC3LE route and include the clonewheel organ sounds as found on the Kronos (even if we haven't got the full 9 controls for drawbars... they could have been incorporated virtually on that big touchscreen!

They should have also included 1 VA synth like an cut down version of the AL1.

Korg can at least be congratulated for coming to the table and FINALLY, re-introducing M3 Xpanded style sequencer featuers in the Krome... one can only hope that this ia a good future sign for the current Kronos sequencer????????

The Krome is (The M50 + extra piano, EP & drums + more polyphony + a better screen). It could be named the M50EX.
