new user..-transposing..midi and mp3 ?

Post by advid »

..just put a USB stick into my 600..plays great and I can transpose or speed up ect. BUT...can you transpose the keyboard up/down seperatelyi to get in key with the song on the USB ?
When I transpose - the song goes up and the keyboard goes up..can't synchronise the key to play along to keep in tune...

Try using the controls on GLOBAL > TUNING > TRANSPOSE CONTROL

If you turn off TRANSPOSE APPLIES TO PLAYER you should be able to transpose just the keyboard to match your MP3

While in Style Play mode try pressing MENU then GLOBAL. Then press TUNING on the LCD screen then press the TRANSP-CONTROL tab at bottom of LCD screen.

.....thanks again.-.
There's certainly more to learn on the 600 than my old Yamaha PSR..
But slowly I'm understanding how good this thing is...
The styles and sounds are really in another league
(Except the pianos..not really impressed straight out if the box but I'm sure the sounds can be modified when I've got a bit more into it.-..)
