basically i was wondering if i could do the midi out mod on the volca keys and use it to sequence my micro korg. also if that can be done could i also sync it to an external midi clock while using it as a sequencer at the same time? has anyone tried anything like this with the volca keys? |

If you check this, you'll see that the device doesn't have Note Off implemented. I haven't done the mod, but others have complained that you therefore get hung notes frequently.
If you do go with the mod, yes, you can still have another device connected to the midi in to send a clock signal. You can even have Midi In and Sync In/Out at the same time, as well. Also post your feedback and experience if you do it. thanks. |

note off would be another request for a firm-a-ware up-a-date, then..
nb: if you have your master Volca getting its midi clock/start/stop
from its MIDI in, it can send sync to the other 2, but does not seem
to send start stop. don't know why it is happening here, was sure...
mmm, was i? |
