In real time recording mode I understand the beats will respond to/record certain note numbers from an external midi controller.

my questions are as follows:

    will it record midi notes NOT related to the built in voices?

    what is the polyphony of it's midi recording?

    what is the quantization off the recording (if any)

    will the a modified beats transmit these notes via installed midi output.


I am imagining a scenario where the beats can record and playback polyphonic midi sequences without triggering any of the drums AND play them back over an installed midi output.
