I am looking for a way to trigger samples on the MS1 from my Alesis DM10 drum module.
The DM10 drum module has midi in and out. On Channel 10. Can I trigger samples on the Korg MS1 via Midi? |

Read page 12 of the DM10 manual to set the MIDI note number of each drum to 48 or higher. Note 48 is the lowest key on the microSampler when you press the small Sample (not Keyboard) button.
Read pages 38-39 of the microSampler manual to set Global Receive Channel to 10. |

Oh I understand that stuff thanks robotunes.. I know it 'should' work. But put a a question like this on a forum like this might have someone who has tried it and found some 'issue'.
There are midi implementations and there are midi implementations.
So as far as you know, it should work. Thanks robotunes. |
