|
|
It may have been mentioned in another thread, but I just found a limited Japanese only BLACK edition of the Trinity.
I cannot find any information on this anywhere.
Does anyone know how many of these were made?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I did not source any info..I am SEEKING info.
Must disagree regarding the silver. I never liked the silver trinity or Triton. I think the black looks CLASSY.
Not sprayed on, btw. |

I owned 2 Trinity + 2 Tritons and actually was very fond of the Trinity brushed silver finish. In low lighting the Trinity was always easy to navigate. The Triton had a painted finish that I didn't like as much. If Korg would have made the Kronos 61 key in Platinum I would prefer it over the black. |

Another preference for the brushed aluminum traditional look. _________________ http://www.soundclick.com/bands/default.cfm?bandID=807494

I can confirm that the Black version absolutely exists as I picked one up when I was in Tokyo this past May 2018.
I bought an almost fully loaded Black Trinity Pro serial number 000128. Only thing missing was the DI-TRI.
From all the lore I've heard, it was an ultra low production run.. something like 500-1000 units tops.
I ended up finding a North American PSU on ebay, and swapping out the 100volt Japan PSU as I'm based out of Toronto.
It looks timeless in Black Aluminum. Love it!! |
