What was the total cost for materials, and how long did it take?
I am impressed by your work. Looks very professional _________________ My Gear:

Nice one mate, well done! What tips this over the edge into "you are king!" is the lesson in design in your instructions. Why buy when you can make your own?!
I'm way into making my own stands and am now starting to think about cases. I've recently been trying to conceive a modular+desktops portable assembly, and you've now made my life way easier as I'll modify the design you have used an put rackrails where I need them.
Two 'Steps, 3U of modular, Tetra, Pulse 2, VKick, 2-Pole and a couple of PO's in an easy to transport box and the world will spin with a little less friction. _________________ Stuff I'm using: Umm right now, well there's a Volca Drum, a Micro Freak, an ADX-1, a Pulse, a Blofeld, a UNO Drum, KeyStep/Beatstep Pro/Keystep Pro (one of each), a Circuit, a LiveTrak L-12 and this nonsense: The Brief-case as it was about a bit over a year ago (the the complete ridiculous GAS monster collection here)and here |

Thanks! As I wrote in the instructable, the whole design and build process took around 3 months with maybe 10 hours a week. Unfortunately, I did not keep track on the total cost, but I can't remember it being overly expensive. |

I'm really glad that you've found my small project useful, thanks. After a few months of usage, I can tell that the only real disadvantage of my case is its heavy weight. It sounds like you have a great plan. It would be cool to see your setup in action some day. |
