Replacing the battery

Post by transitbear »

My battery is low and needs replacement. I'm wondering if I lose all the memory when doing that? Does it reset to factory specs? Thanks for the help.
Have Hammond XK3c, Leslie 2121/01,Yamaha P80, Roland JP8000, Roland D50 and now Triton Extreme 61

Nah it's a piece of cake. Changing the battery doesn't cause a factory reset nor does it change anything currently in nonvolatile internal memory (global, program, combination). The only difference will be the files you save will have the correct date and time. Just be sure to set the current date/time after installing the new battery.
