windows sequencer software for korg m50

Post by nathandecastagreen »

where is there a windows software for korg m50 to connect to via usb cable onto a sequencer that is korg m50 on PC windows so the software is an actual korg m50 sequencer and all the other controls and options we have on korg m50 so we can control it and also write music on it on the sequencer and edit it there on PC, so we can edit SNG or midi files made on korg m50 on windows on a computer PC, why has korg not made such software and we can open SNG files and Midi files in there and play it via usb cable connected into korg m50

I do not really understand your long sentence about a sequence editor for the M50. Korg has an editor for the M50, you just need to go to their website and download it. It will allow you to edit programs and such.

I suspect that Korg did not create a specific sequencer editor for the M50 because there are so many options already available for sequencing anyway. If you want to use an external sequencer program, you can do that.

The Editor for the M50 from Korg allows you to edit programs, Combis and also allows for sequencer librarian type utilities. I also believe that you can program the ARPs from the editor. I am not sure if you can edit sequences in the software or not, as the M50's built in touch screen was usually enough for me.
