KSC is Incomplete

Post by UCG Musician »

I do not know what to do when a program won't load because some sample bank is missing. I get a warning message on a number of programs that says "KSC is incomplete due to uninstalled EXs ??6." When I click on either "load only required samples" or "load complete banks", the program does not function. It isn't t fixed when I autoload the KSCs associated with the library. So, I cannot figure out what samples are missing or what libraries are incomplete. Hopefully someone can help with this.

I’ve seen a message similar to that before too. Check auto load and verify that the box is checked on all your EXs.

Must Reinstall

Post by UCG Musician »

No matter what I did I could not load the necessary samples in any other way than to reinstall the libraries from scratch. Some samples were apparently deleted but I have no idea when or how this happened. All the programs are finally functioning again. But even so, when I run a MIDI sequence in Cakewalk I must load the samples for almost every track, including factory sounds like "I-A 000: Kronos German Grand".

I’m sorry that you had to go through all that, but I’m glad you’re back in business. I don’t know anything about cakewalk or any plugins. I do “save all” backups on a regular basis so I can go back in time if needed. Good luck 😊
