Kronos 88 and RH3 keyboard faulty

Sorry to say.... you can add my K88 to the list of those experiencing note cutoffs. It did it once or twice about 3 weeks ago. The problem has been happening with greater frequency now. In fact, the other day I couldn't even play a song through without it occurring multiple times. I turned the power off, unplugged the power cord, then restarted everything. It was fine for a while but the problem came back again. I don't know if its reliable enough at this point for me to record a studio performance... which I'm planning on doing, but I won't be a happy camper if its not

Rather than take it to a service center, I'll wait to see if OS 1.5 fixes this problem. I can't imagine it being a keybed or mechanical problem if its that intermittent - not to mention that RH3 is not unique to the Kronos.

Korg is making a big mistake now.
They pretend that nothing is happening.
But almost every day brings new reports of various defects of Kronos.
Just read this forum.

But i have two thoughts about this:
1. On the official Korg web-site i saw a link to this forum. That's how I found out about this forum. If Korg recommend this forum for discussing about Korg product, so I understand that this forum is not a underground illegal place, right? 2. In this forum there are official Korg staff and I believe that they send to Korg information about a lot of cases of defects, which are described here.
Several users wrote that this forum is regularly read by Korg staff. This is logical and understandable - to read opinions about Korg products.

Very sad to hear about these continuing problems. I fully intended to buy a 61 later this year or early next year to replace the 73 I had but I'll be waiting to see how all this shakes out.

I just picked up a PC3 as a new controller and I think that and a K61 would make a killer combo! I just hope down the road the current RH3 owners don't run into problems. That would be bad.

Yeah that would be bad! Its certainly something I'm watching out for. I'm actually glad that most issues I've heard of are "out-of-the-box" things when the Kronos is first turned on!

PianoMan is the first i've actually heard of something happening after initial inspection!

PC3 would make a killer combo - but I'm holding out for the K3000!

Kurzweil K3000 but it does not exist...yet...or if it ever will

I think waiting for the 1.5 update is a mistake. I would not wait 2-3 more weeks to resolve a problem that your having now. The longer you wait, the less likely you can get a refund or exchange if need be. Plus your keeping the board doesnt make Korg aware of your problem. You need to call Korg directly or your retailer and tell them and see what they want to do.

And 'for this reason that I decided to immediately return the keyboard demanding a refund in full.
In this way:
1 - The Korg understands the seriousness of the problem
2 - If you do not solve the problem or just dab it in some way, I am free not to buy more than Kronos. I have no constraints.
