Frank at AudioworksCT gave me a great price and service when I bought my PA4x61 back when they were scarce. Frank's great. Highly recommended. Call him.

Hey MM, great job. Those Beach Boys harmonies are superb. Would you be so kind to tell us what your setup is?

Giner,

Thanks.

This was straight out of the pa4x. I did not use a standard vocal harmony setting, but I made my own setting in the vocal preset editor. I did it by just turning on one voice at a time and adjusting it until I had the blend that I liked. I have a Gauge microphone and Gauge preamp which is really good.

I did find that to get a nice-sounding PA4X harmony I need to have a certain softness in my voice. If I have a harsh edge to my lead voice the harmony voices have a harsh edge.

Wow. Even more impressive, then. I have an old bandmate in the UK who was in a Beach Boys tribute band, so I sent him your YT link and he loved it. Said it was very Wilson-esque.
