SQ-1 + MS20 Mini + other ?

If I have to send a negative gate to my MS20 Mini, how do I use the SQ-1 with positive gate stuff at the same time? My AIRA Modular effects receive perfectly in positive gate mode and my MS20 Mini receives perfectly in negative gate mode. I have been trying to figure out a workaround. Is it right in front of me?

For now, I am using the MS20 Mini EG1 output to the gate/sync/trigger input on my Roland Aira Scooper. Now they both trigger properly.
