Hey guys...got a decent X50 recently and discovered when I play the more synthetic tones on it, random notes tend to lose their velocity and drop out completely when played following/with other notes...
Any ideas?

Three possibilities to consider (there may be others):
1) It's possible that the behaviour being seen is by design. For example, if the sound has been set up such that one or more LFOs that control envelope or filter have been set to not retrigger on every note played, i.e. the Key Sync parameter is set to off then, whilst the first key is being played, if the LFO(s) reach a point where the sound produced is quiet, then the next key played without releasing the first key, will be equally quiet. This can be used to good effect to get a certain sound characteristic. The only ways to restore the sound heard with the first key press, is to release all the keys and then play them again, or set the relevant LFO Key Sync parameters to on.
2) If the Program's Voice Assign parameter has been set to monophonic, as is oftern the case when trying to emulate older analogue synths which were monophonic, then only one note will sound at any time. What happens when more than one key is pressed will be determined by the Note Priority parameter, which can take the settings Low, High, or Last, i.e. the note that plays will be the lowest, highest or last key played. Setting the Voice Assign mode to Polyphonic will change this behaviour.
