Drum kit problem after compress my SET

Post by ANAFREE »

Hi , i have a problem in my some drum kit started after compress my SET

see 00:15
https://youtu.be/dLc75PQNJMY

i must press SHIFT+START button to fix it (RESET midi signal)

i tried to remove loop option for any kit have loop option, but the problem has not been resolved

Just if i edit the drum kit "which has the problem" and active "Single Trigger" option for each kit ,the problem disappears, but i think that's not a true solution.

note: the problem already exists on some of my style , so it's not midi or cubase issue.

I have exactly the same problem (same noise DR/Percussion tracks) as you with some drum/percussion sounds
in my set in Pa4X standard version and Pa700 Oriental, the same set in both keyboard.

The style start playing correctly and after some seconds the DR/Percussion sounds get noisy.
I don't know the reason of this issue but I think, not sure, the problem would be with some Drum/Percussion qualities that are included with the set.

mmmm The problem started after i compressed my SET using KORG PA MANAGER,
(Edit: it's not a korg pa manager bug)

How about you ? do you compressed your set using korg pa manager or directly ?

Yes, I compressed my set but I should have tried it before the compression to make sure if the problem is in the set or coming after the compression.

You're welcome.
I opened a <a href="http://www.korgforums.com/forum/phpBB2/ ... p?t=117659" target="_blank">new topic</a> regarding the Decompression of a Set to examine this noise issue.
By the way I forgot to mention in my previous post that I compressed my set directly in Pa4X itself.

If samples are broken, I don't think that new version will repair that..

I recommend to load uncompressed PCM now. And if you want to compress, its better compressing with new version, maybe they changed algorithm of compression. I hope compression will work with no problem :)
