Korg M50 touch buttons not working after update

I updated the software of my (older) M50. The touch display still works, but none of the push buttons. I initialized the instrument, but now nothing works anymore as I cannot switch into Global Mode to load the internal data. Any ideas what might be wrong or how to remedy the problem? Thanks!
