FM Patchs: Complet bank Nautilus converted for you Kronos

Post by TfmxLtFred »

Hello

I am back to offer you all the EXI patches of the Nautilus converted for the Kronos. The FINAL version

V2 brings many corrections to the whole of this bank

You have 112 Programs + 5 Extra

https://drive.google.com/file/d/1N7bu3l ... sp=sharing

For those who want the files.
First make a little message on the post and I will send you the links in PM

Thank you for your understanding

I don't have the Nautilus to compare but I took special care to check two times each program.

Personally I find that the Nautilus programs are much more successful than those of the Kronos.

Little Info:

Do not hesitate to touch the different controllers because they can radically change the sound.

Regarding the USER knobs

User knob 1: Drive / Phaser / Distortion
User knob 2: Chorus / Phaser
User Knob 3: Delay or Chorus
User knob 4: reverb

The switches 1 and 2 are operational as well as the vector joystick and the Joystick pitch bend

It will do the trick until a software is released to do the automatic conversion.

See you soon FM Fred

Thanks so much for sharing these patches. I've been enjoying playing them, and it's good of you to have uploaded them. The overall sound palate won't be unfamiliar to Kronos users, but they are all very usable, and I like the way that the SW1/2 switches really change the character of some of the sounds. Good stuff...

It's very kind of you, TfmxLtFred.
I've checked them all. Some are very beautiful.

There is a little issue with some of them : 001, 016, 024, 025, 026, 029 ask for samples "unkonwn Sample Bank 3 Mono".

Thank again for your generosity.

Yes, I had the same thing as Liviou - a message saying 'Samples Not Loaded', but I guessed that it might be down to the way in which I've gradually changed the contents of my PCG down the years and so I accepted the sounds as they are.

Hi Liviou2004
no problem for the missing sample.
The programs I converted only use EXIs without sample.

It will be great to get more.
A popular proverb says: "You give them one finger, they want a whole fist". I don't mean anything bad by this, I would also be very happy to get more of that. Thank you so much TfmxLtFred, for this very generous share.

Hello to you PEDJA , KK , Liviou2004, Pete.m, alamo, and more

You want more .......... that is not the problem.
I spent around a good fifteen hours to manually transcribe the 80 programs of the Nautilus.
With a simple technique: On each side of my screen the 2 editors (Kronos and Nautilus)
I can tell you that my neck still hurts just what I think. LOL

The positive side is that I have further improved my knowledge of this great machine.
My goal was not simply to copy programs after programs but rather to understand the multitude of functions that this machine provides.

Now to come back to your question: Am I going to do another conversion?

Korg for the Nautilus preferred quality over quantity.
Apart from 10 CX3 and EP1 programs which are very similar, well I did the tour !!

The other new programs use the HD1 engine and the samples are different between the 2 machines.
I will certainly convert some in a while, but replace the samples with Kronos ones (to my taste)

To finish
At this moment there are more than 750 views on this post and very few thanks.
82 thank you for 82 Programs I ask no more to continue to share my work with you.

See you soon
