On XP-50, I can have a pattern play the whole phrase that includes multiple instruments Drums, Base, Piano etc. So I can actually play different parts of the song by touching different keys.
On Korg not sure I can do this. A pattern plays one instrument only.
Can I have a pattern play a complete phrase and not just one part?
If a Song can be assigned to a Key, that could work ... |

yes it can be done.
Assign a different instrument to each track and different midi channel and that should work _________________ ESKIMO WALK acoustic band

Not sure what you mean. Each track has its own instrument and MIDI channel as default behavior. That doesn't let you build a pattern that crosses channels or instruments. Please explain what you mean with steps |
