Whats with all the hate on the new PA2X?

Post by AtinDallas »

These updates on the PA2X were the ones most everyone were screaming for, now you have it......screaming still going on? If you don't like it, wait in a year or two.....am sure KORG will unvail a 61 key PA2X-M3 arranger keyboard.... (and am not talking about pa800).

 hehe
Dust caused by the emerge of the PA2X has not even started to settle. But here its good to see we're still looking far ahead, beyond PA2X :)

I think the trouble is these updates are more PA1X-ish, not enough for a brand new keyboard.

I don't hear too much "screaming" going on.

The thing is, this board seems more like an evolution rather than a revolution.

On the other hand, Korg must be stuck between a rock and a hard place, as they have to make the new PAX fully (or mostly) compatible with the PA1X.

If I hadn't just bought a PA1X Pro Elite, I'd be more interested in the '2, and it would almost certainly be my next purchase. :)
Just pretend I've written something funny, yet wise and ironic here...

It is just JELAOUSY, when i had only the 50$ CASIO CZ101 people with
KORG M1 would approach me and i would still say that my CZ was better.
Dont you already get it? It is the same s**t over and over since the day
of begining of synths.

I still think you'd find it difficult to buy a better arranger than the pa2x - it should sell nicely. But for us 1x owners its not worth the upgrade.

Hi
last weekend I played PA2X in Musicália (Music fair of Lisbon) I think the styles sound better than PA1X but I´m not impressive at all.

Can you confirm if the body is made of Aluminun just like the one on the Trinity? Silver?
