How to factory reset the Korg PA1X Pro

Post by NavidSyed »

Hi there guys, How can I completly reset the Korg PA1X Pro to factory setting, and I meant to delet all the loaded samples, delet all the user styles, just complete reset of keyboard to its factory settings, now just loading the newest restore data does not do it cause your user styles and samples remain in the keyboard, help appreciated. :?:

i think - install OS new (press the Intro1 button, when message with OK come up)

then load the BKP

and then you have a totally resettet key

I already have the latest OS and the latest resource data, all I want to do is delete all the user data, so are you suggesting loading the OS again will do the trick? there is no other way like holding few keys when powering up?

Another way to erase all the user datas :
Press Disk switch
press Erase tab
Choose "SSD" instead of HD, just above the "load" tab
press "all"
press "open"
choose "pad", sound, style...
press "open"
press and hold "shift" switch and choose all items. Press "Erase".
"Close" and choose another type of datas.
You can erase all the user SSD like this.

I agree with you. It takes a long time.

Hello,

there is a thing called the manual/handbook - i really advise you to read it to understand your key much better.

All the stuff for PA1X you´ll find under:

Hope that helps

Follow this and all will work:-

I have 3.01 - this is the recommended level - I no longer have 2.50.
