Master Transpose in a Songbook entry

Hi members,
I saved an entry in the Songbook based on preloaded style in the Pa800. All the other settings are saved such as STSs, tempo and other settings related to the style but not the Master Transpose. I tried to transpose the style & then save it as a Songbook entry, but to no avail. I even read the manual, may be its there but I couldnt find it.

Any help would be highly appreciated.

If Master Transpose is locked in the Global menu, Songbook entries cannot change master transposition.

You should unlock it and see if that helps.

I wish there WAS an option for the songbook to override the global transpose lock. That way, when we choose a performance instead of a STS while playing a song from the songbook, it wont re-transpose to 0.

I also second the opinion of bypassing the Master/Global transpose lock. By the way, just to mention, the korgpa website was recently updated with the intro of Pa500 and the instructional DVDs pack. I seriously hope and wish that the next update would be for the new OS for pa800

ovveride the transpose lock in song book
is insert in the list of update request I have send to korg in this days
they will read it and I hope of course implement !

Hi Dragoncaz,
Since you mentioned in your reply that you have inserted the said topic in your request list for Korg, I was thinking of a couple of other issues as well. I initiated a topic for the requests fot next OS which included requests for templates and Guitar mode utility in the Sequncer mode. If its not much trouble, could you please request these as well?

what you are asking is not a fast update I don't know if they will think about it, you can do with pc
