I bought adapter CF (compact flash) to 2,5' HDD and card. But it doesn't work Sad . Keyboard doesn't know neither write nor read correctly.
Keyboard makes only FORMAT, but machine works very slowly.
When I do SAVE keyboard saves only 8kB to CF . When I do LOAD , it writes 'Corrupted file'. I have KINGSTON Compact Flash 512MB.

Where is the error Question
Do I have bad card (i think type/model)?

Well I dont read often here the forum but I can tell you how I did connect that the only CF that the korg Pa80 will work is the RIDATA CF color silver 150X or RIDATA color green 266x this is the only ones that it can work with keyboard because I already tried almost all brands and this where the only ones that it work ... so you will plug your 2.5" adapter to CF in properly way and you need one of this CF from ridata ... by the way I only used 4GB and you need to format in the keyboard ... Well I am looking here as well for help about my Real Drums card I really dont know what happened suddenly didnt work properly and I tried to overwrite with my back up and I cant get it back to work so thats why I saw your post because Im looking for help ... anyways I hope this information that I gave you will help you ... I am using now the CF with my keyboard at the same way that you want to use it...

I'm using CF 2GB from APACER and it works OK.

Code:
http://emea.apacer.com/en/products/CompactFlash_Card_specs.htm

I think, mistake is in version CF. This APACER has v2.0 and KINGSTON has v1. But, I don't know why it doesn't work. I try other producers.
