PA-800 Vs. PA1X

I have a PA-80 and I'd like to buy a newer keyboard, anyone can help me to choice between a new PA-800 and an used PA1X?

Hi,
It's really a no-brainer..PA800 always, if you can afford it.

Although a used pa1x is good value especially at some of the prices you will most likely get one for.

Hi Peppecu,
I cannot agree more with Dennis. Whatever the difference is now, in just over a months time the difference will be even greater once the new operating system for the PA2X/ PA800 is released.
On my PA800, I have the majority of the PA1x styles loaded into the user section.

I have to agree here..

Unless you can get a PA1X at a "give-away" super super cheap price, I would stay with the latest technology and go for the PA800 - especially now that Korg have announced the upgrade:-

No they wont sound the same, on the PA1X they sound more powerfull
and warmer, due to better outputs and different ROM.
