Hi there,

I uploaded a piano program called "PianoOne",
which i programmed myself and uploaded a week ago,
but it didnīt show up yet in the download section.
Hopefully the administrators are reading this here.
Also uploaded a Vocoder patch.

If these patches do not appear in the DL-Section,
just leave me a message and iīll try to put it somewhere
else for download.

greetingz users!

Hello folks,

Since an attempt to upload my R3-Patches into the DL-Section failed,
i am providing you a DL-Link, which is valid for 30 Days and contains two patches:

"PianoOne" a classic Piano Sound and
"Funkcodr" a real unique Vocoder-Patch

Hope youīll find the patches useful. Any feedback welcome!

Thanks!

Are you looking for a realistic sounding acoustic piano? If so, you might as well stop looking for a patch to magically convert a synthesizer to do something it can't do.

i'm interested in hearing any available patches and attempts at it.

It's just another patch I can try out, and modulate myself and ya never know how I'd like it.

If tecroc sees this, box.net is a great free filehosting service and the files don't get deleted...

The delay in updating the download section is because a new one is being installed that allows you to upload the files yourself and have them instantly available.

Almost done.

Regards.
Sharp.

Thanks Sharp -

really looking forward to hearing what kind of piano patches are out there for the r3, despite the very negative reviews!

Hi to all R3 Users (Radias, MS & Micro Users too of course),

Since there is much interest in Piano-Patches on the Forum,
iīve put together a little selection of Piano, E-Piano and Organ Patches,
that i programmed. They are accesible for everyone via the following link.

Please note: by clicking the link below you agree with the following terms of use:
Any unauthorized commercial use of these patches is not allowed!

Of course, as some of my fellow forum users mentioned before none of
these sounds claim to be an accurate simulation of a real Grand Piano
or a real Fender Rhodes. Itīs merely an approach towards having Patches
on the Korg R3, that have the basic characteristics of the instruments
mentioned above. But after all thatīs enough to me. Donīt forget itīs a
Synthesizer not a Sampler or ROMpler (well except for the DWGS waves).
Anyway, if you have any questions, comments or ideas concerning these patches
feel free to post.

Cheers,
Very Happy

By the way, there have been no negative reviews of these patches. My intent is not to be negative about these kinds of piano patches. A patch can still sound very good, even if does not sound how you expect. Many electric pianos sound great, even better than grand pianos for many kinds of songs, but they don't sound like a sampled Grand Piano. I think it's great when anyone uploads a patch here. My only concern is when people buy or intend to buy a VA synth like the R3/Radias/MK thinking that it can do great acoustic piano sounds if only they can find the right patch for it.

Hey TecRoc, how do we get the Patch from the site u posted?

I really enjoy the download section mainly because I love getting sounds onto my R3 made by other users, it can let you see how other users program and which 4 Parameters they find most useful for that sound
