First off I hope Korg plans to keep the software for theses updated for a couple more years !?!
With that said... My suggestions would be:
User definable min/max for velocity range on pads !
memory optimization in firmware for more scene locations .
arpeggiator , note repeat .
A dedicated page on Korg.com (or the forum) for user scene sharing .
Oh ! and for the mod wheel to work as ...well a mod wheel inside Logic in Korg native mode !

Totally agree!
Please KORG update the Kontrol 49 editor for Mac OS X! It's my master keyboard for all my gigs and I have checked out others but never found a better one.

Very nice suggestions, which I can only support!DBM wrote: User definable min/max for velocity range on pads !

Hi,
Yes, very good suggestions. The Librarian is a solid app imo. It's easy to use, but a little limited, so I expect there to be more suggestions for improvements or for other ways to program the kontrol49.
My two cents:
- Definable range of values for encoders and sliders (as well as pads..). Sometimes you only want 10-15 instead of 0-127.
-Allow Inc/Dec controllers (for +/- msgs) and possibly other controller types as well. (Inc/Dec is very nice for Midi Translator.)
-Ways to set midi channel for different sections (pads, sliders, encoders, keys) , especially keys so that the keyboard can! stay on the same channel while changing scenes for instance.
-More functions for the main encoder to do, like change midichannel for instance. Combinations would also be great where you'd hold a pad while moving the main encoder which could trigger tempo/program change, specific controllers, pitchbends and so on.
You'd then also want a quicker way to change what the main enc. does.
Shortcuts...
-Options to send/receive individual patches (rather than just the entire scene) from the librarian to and from the kontrol 49.
-More information/documentation about how to define midi messages (or something) to trigger actions like changing midi channel for a section, or if possible, ways to automate computer interaction with Librarian from the K49, so you can operate the librarian more or less from the k49 itself.
That would be so cool.
