This is a small fix for users with a MOSS board fitted.
When the Convert Position parameter in Global Mode was set to Post MIDI, Transpose values in Global Mode worked incorrectly for MOSS voices. This has now been fixed.

Unbelievable! I can't believe they fixed this issue, after all these years. Cool. Better late than never, that's for sure.
I don't expect anymore updates. But having this come out more than a year after official discontinue, does indicate that a future bug-fix could happen. (I don't know of any other bugs, aside from the RAM-related ROM artifacts thing).

Thank you KORG.

according to the tonydo64's experience, this OS update can greatly affect the noises issue. The problem may be not with the ROM content itself but the mess in sample offsets' pointers (caused somehow by RAM) stored somewhere in writable memory. On the other hand just reloading the OS apparently does not fix this issue. Also, I can tell that the TEX OS is great work since I can see no reason to update from old 1.0.2 OS, but there is one thing that could be improved - velocity curves(oh yes). Apart from this... there is an another issue (an actual bug) I discovered lately, but I do not want to go into details at the moment, will try contact with Japan first.I don't expect anymore updates. You're welcome - although I didn't do the work, our great Engineers did it. But we didn't forget you!Nor251 wrote:![]()

Guys, why is it so hard to believe that Korg fixed this bug? Any serious company with serious after sales policy would do that.
Please click on the link and check all the threads in the following topic: http://www.korgforums.com/forum/phpBB2/ ... hp?t=24893 Notice also the date of my first thread. It was when i bought my Extreme. Nor and i have never given up asking for that fix.
For sure Korg has done a great job but remember that it is us the end users that we should know our instruments well and address any possible bugs to Korg. You won't get any support if you don't ask for it.
Regards to all

Nikos, you're RIGHT! When you go to visit doctor he won't never know or reveal the place in your body witch suffer from.

I agree that we shouldn't be that surprised but in this day and age, I guess a lot of us are used to products losing support once it's discontinued. Whether it's 2 late or whatever, still good to see KORG following thru. Can't please everyone but it seems they've pleased quite a few with this fixkorg_nikos wrote:Guys, why is it so hard to believe that Korg fixed this bug? Yes, I've had the experience of lack of support with other synths that I own, so I am glad that Korg is still listening to issues from Triton users
...and on that note, I'd like to link to an old post of mine pointing out issues that I have:
http://www.korgforums.com/forum/phpBB2/ ... hp?t=39371
I realize that not all things in that post can be fixed. Some, however I would like to see fixed such as the OSC 2 default pan value, the ribbon lock feature, and default EG levels (I would prefer them at max instead of minimum).

Please make this post as STICKY post. Thanks!
