Hello everyone. I just got a Korg Nanopad in the last few days. I've been trying to load the drivers and get it to work with Reason. But it doesn't seem to be working at all.
The Nanopad lights up when I plug it into the USB. My windows XP laptop sees the Nanopad ) I know this because windows does come up with a message saying that it saw the Nanopad).
But when I open up reason, it doesn't see the Nanopad. Also, when I open up the Kontrol editor, it does not see a connection to the Nanopad.
Does anybody have any insight into what I might be able to do?
Thanks |

one thing to make sure of is that when you plug in the device, go to the 'install korg USB MIDI' utility that you will find under korg in your start menu. then you have to actually 'install' the device. this will make sure that it is using the correct drivers (and this is true for all korg USB MIDI devices) _________________ Current Gear: Kronos 61, RADIAS-R, Volca Bass, ESX-1, microKorg, MS2000B, R3, Kaossilator Pro +, MiniKP, AX3000B, nanoKontrol, nanoPad MK II,

I am having the same problem that this user seems to be having. Windows says the Nanopad is installed, however, no application will see it. I did go to "install korg USB midi" and it installed. I have seen nothing that seems as if it will adress my problem. |

You've reached the 10 device limit within your Windows Registry. There are a few threads that already address this issue on here and many other forums, but nonetheless, here's a link that should help explain it:
