HOW TO TRANSFER STYLES FROM KORG PA80 to KORG PA2xPro
Turn on KORG PA 80.
In style play mode choose style you want to transfer. (Pop Bt for example).
Click red Record button and choose Current Style.
Click button called - Write Disk in Use.
Choose name for the style (Usually just keep it whatever its already named) and choose where you want to save. (Folder of user1 or user2 or user3 + style name)
Click on actual name that you want to name it. It blinks like you want to rename it.
Click YES and YES again to record/save it to desired user bank location.
Now its in user bank button. Do it for all styles you want to transfer from KORG PA80. So basically what you do is save them from original folder to user folder (user1, user2 or user3)
Insert Floppy Disk into KORG PA80.
Click on Disk button.
Click Save ALL, then click F1. It will save to Floppy Disk all your styles in user1, user2, user3 banks.
Rename your_name.SET to KORGPA80.SET or any other name you want.
Insert Floppy Disk into computer.
Go inside your_name.SET and rename “PROGRAM” folder to “SOUND”.
Copy your_name.SET folder to USB.
Turn on KORG PA2xPro and insert USB into KORG PA2xPRO
Click Media button.
Choose USB-F and go to your_name.SET folder
Click Open. Click style and click Open again.
Click user01.sty and open it.
List of all styles is in here. Choose the style you want and click Load.
Click select to locate where you want to load it in the user bank buttons (user1, user2, user3) Click OK.
Do it for each style you want to upload. DONE.
