Which power supply for Electribe EMX/ESX?
Does anyone know if you can power an EMX/ESX Electribe with the 1Spot power supply?
I believe the 1Spot is rated 9v (negative center) 1700mA.

In general, I would assume that any power supply would work if current, voltage, amperage and polarity are appropriate for the device - they can usually be read on the case of the instrument.
That said, all official manuals say DON'T EVER EVER USE UNOFFICIAL POWER SUPPLIES, THE PLANET WILL IMPLODE AND WE TAKE NO RESPONSABILITY

yes, but it's AC, so you definitely can't use a 1700mA DC transformer!bog wrote:I heard somewhere the non-SD versions used 9V 3000mA transformers?
call Korg support, they'll tell you the part number and sell you a replacementbog wrote: Oh, and if I wanted to find the replacement power adapter for the EMX/ESX electribes, where should I look? Does anyone have the model number for the power adapter?
the non-SD versions have a weird DIN-like power socket, like a 3-pin MIDI connector, I don't know if the Radias and Karma adaptors are the same
