Split the screen into two pages? |
Yes I agree and would prefer it. If possible. |

What would you think of splitting the tracks 1 to 8 and 9 to 16 into two pages on the sequencer, like the triton, which I got on fine with. Easier to read? The upper half stays the same but the tracks text and controllers are bigger and easier to see.
Not the most important issue but....
Also the same with insert effects.
Is that possible? Just a thought? _________________ https://m.youtube.com/user/1967runningman |

I like it the way it is, don't know much about the seq. screen, but the combi screen is probably somewhat identical.
However, I would like they used a little bigger font when possible, or bolder font or remove the disabled tracks. SO if max. 8 timbres are used use 1 page with bigger font, when 9-16 timbres are used, use the current screen. _________________

I agree with Apex - have the option to split would be a nice to have (not essential). Or maybe a zoom and hrozontal/vertical scrollbars for those of us now needing reading glasses. |

I like it the way it is. I also have the Triton so I've seen it both ways. Having an "option" for it would be nice though. |

Split the screen like the Triton. While it works for the Oasys...the Kronos' screen and font is way too small to have all this information on one screen. Its not about being blind or needing glasses (which is among the first responses for those that heavily defend every aspect of the Kronos...not to mention all the off-topic/unrelated stuff they add to any given thread).
Roland's Fantom G is a perfect example of great GUI design. It doesn't need to split 16 channels on 2 screens...nor do you have to squint while in any of the menus. _________________ Tool box: Kronos 61, Fantom FA06, ASR-10, MPCX, MPC Live, and MPC 4000.

I think this would be the Kronos LE which was discussed a short time ago. _________________

I think this is the best idea. I voted for leaving it as it is at first but now that I've thought about it a zoom and scrolling functions would be cool.
I.m wondering if anybody has tried to connect a monitor up somehow? _________________ If music is the food of love, play on and play loud!

Pretty sure you cant hook a monitor up now, however I believe the new update(not yet released) will allow you to do so. |
