Looking into buying a microStation. Bear with me as I have never owned a Korg workstation before, I'm a Motif guy looking for a (much) smaller/lighter board to take out for gigs.
I understand that sequencer data is lost when powering down so songs need to be reloaded on power up. In the manual it appears that you can only load one song at a time. Is this true?
It also appears that there is no "all data" load, that copies all user data including all songs. Is this true?

I'm not sure about the microStation, however for most other Korgs:
- you can load a SNG (song) file which can contain multiple sequencer songs
- there is a save option for PCG + SNG which saves both sounds and song file, but they are separate files.
- when loading a song you can specify to also load the same named PCG file. _________________

Thanks for the answer.
I surfed over to the Korg website and watched a tutorial video that described how to do this. Why isn't this in the manual? _________________ I sing the body electric |
