Microkey - Kenton USB MIDI HOST Problem

Post by pbmember »

I thought the Microkey would work with the Kenton USB MIDI Host, but so far I haven't had any luck. Is the Microkey Class Compliant? Can it's MIDI driver mode be changed? I didn't have any problems using my microsampler as a controller when connected to the Kenton Host, so I know there's nothing wrong with the Host. Anyone have a clue?

I could probably solve the issue by purchasing a LPK25, but I would rather go with my microkey37 or the new microkey25.

I'm having the same problem. Did you ever get the Kenton USB Host to work with the Microkey? The Microkey is class compliant - I don't know why the Kenton host isn't recognising it. :?

My Mickrokey 37 and 61 do not start on a USB midi host. It is not a Kenton. However, my Roland Edirol A-49 works fine with the USB host. The funny thing is that the A-49 initially did not start even on a PC, but I found a procedure on the internet a few years back that did the trick. So I thought I would do a similar thing by doing a factory reset on the the Microkeys. It did't work. It seems the Korg Microkey controllers use a Korg driver by default
