If you want to explore a PCG file, you can do this in disk mode.
- Select the PCG file
- Press "open" instead of "Load". Load will simply load everything that's in the file, and possibly overwrite existing sounds
- Just navigate to programs, banks, etc ... Selecting a program will result in actually playing that program without having to load it _________________ Old gig setup: Yamaha S90, Roland Fantom XR, Hammond XM-1, M-Audio Axiom 61

I haven't tried all, but afaik there are no issues.
However, ALWAYS make sure you backup your current memory as full (which is default) PCG file. _________________
