I see you are Midlands based. Does your Weimaraner recommend a Korg retailer in the region? I bought my last two Korgs from a dealer in Leicester which no longer exists and we don't have a dog.

To DocBambs

I used to live in Leicester. In those days, my preferred local dealer for keyboard was always Intasound on 70 Narborough Road, and Sheehan's for guitars and brass, on London Road, near the train station.

If you go to Intasound and the boss, Malcolm, is there, tell him Francois says hi.

They have a website http://www.intasound-music.co.uk/

and a quick presentation of their showroom on You Tube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G5xrQ8c1wdQ

I've never had any cause to complain about their service.

I got a Korg C520 from there a few years ago for my local church. However, they don't seem to do Korg any more (Casio, Yamaha & Roland) and when I phoned them up they didn't seem very keen.

I was really looking for a specialist - Digital Village in B'ham seemed very helpful and got me a wonderful set of Senheiser headphones to audition the Kronos in the showroom. Just wondering where else I might look.

(still no dog)

OK. It's a few years since I visited the shop, so I cannot comment.

There used to be another shop near Humberstone Gate, the old Carlsbro which became something else, then something else again. Is that the one you're referring to that's closed ?

That's the place. They were Carlsbro, Academy of Sound and then Sound Control (and maybe someone else too). Then they vanished. They had some incredibly talented musicians working there, especially in the guitar section.

Well... That would certainly test the "build quality" Rolling Eyes

What the dog is thinking:

Why does my master drool every time that box makes a sound?
I thought I was his best friend.
How the hell am I supposed to fetch that big stick?
I need to find a new place to bury my new toy.
Will he just leave already? I feel like humping that grey bitch.
Those tuner things are much better as chew toys.
My ass itches. Those flexible white ass cleaners look perfect for the job.

My Rhodesian Ridgeback (5 years old) approved me buying my Kronos in January!
To the OP: nice dog you've got there! Smile[/img]

I think, first you have to play with your dog, before it will allow you to play with your new Kronos Laughing

One of our cat likes the flightcase more than the Kronos ... when I forget to close it, it is taken as sleeping location.
