Crums... I knew this would happen.

After school, my son sat in front of the Kronos and started playing with karmified combis. The result ? He now wants me to sell his PA1X and get him a Kronos. Crying or Very sad

Does anyone know this Saturday lottery numbers ?

I assume your son doesn't live with you.

One Kronos per house should be enough for starter.

Very Happy

Ahhh, so the "You are wise beyond your years" must be the fortune side- I kept wondering why my lottery words were never coming up in the drawing! Razz

Francois, bon chance! That's why I don't let my family near mine!

You should be happy that he didn´t ask you to buy a PA3x, which is even slightly more expencive than Kronos ... Wink

You can kill two birds with one stone Francois. Pick any sound from the Kronos and then spend the next few weeks tryin to duplicate it on the PA1X. ~Whether you are successful, or not is irrelevant but the process will do three things that will help both you and your boy for many years to come.

1. That pretty much any sound can be reproduced (near as damn it ) on your existing gear if you take the time to develope the skills to prgramme properly
2. That its not the keyboard but the player/sound designer/style programmer that matters
3. That having new gear requires the same thing to make it sound great as having old gear . The key word is SKILL

Best of luck Francois. I have the PA1X and after digging into it over these last 8 uyears i am cured of gearlust.

(although if anyone sees a Kronos going cheap i could be re converted again Smile )

You also can buy a cheap sampler ... ask which program he likes on the Kronos (let him chose one per week) and sample it so he can play it on his sampler Smile

Does your mother in law visit this forum? Cool
If so, you may be in bigger trouble than you thought...
