Korg Kronos Tutorial: 10 IPAD Music App Yamaha Synth Arp & Drum Pad
This tutorial shows how you can use the IPAD app: Yamaha Synth Arp & Drum Pad with a Korg Kronos.
First the arpeggiator of the IPAD app will be shown with a bass sound, then the drumpads connected to chords are shown in combination with a Kronos Combi. Also the sequencer of the ipad app will be shown. This way you can create quick backing tracks for jamming purposes.
At the end of the video there is a section where is explained how to setup the Kronos in combination with an IPAD. This way the midi and audio is streamed over USB right into the Kronos.
You can find the video here: Kronos Tutorial: 10 IPAD Music App Synth Arp & Drum Pad

I don't have any IStuff, however I admire the amount of videos you are making!

Thank you, your tutorials are great.
It would be great if there were more in depth tutorials like that from Korg as well. HINT HINT!
There is a lot of things in Kronos, some are easy to figure out some are not. I guess that goes along with experience. Speaking for myself, it is my hobby only, but I would love to see more video tutorials that would give me a quick start with more advanced or not so obvious features and save lots of time reading and trying.
By the way, I can see you are using "Synth Arp & Drum Pad" app on your IPAD. There is also "Keyboard Arp & Drum Pad" app on AppStore. I assume I could use that one too?

The Keyboard Arp and Drum Pad is the older app from Yamaha. The Synth Arp & Drum pad is better for the same price.

I have them both, the big difference is that the new synth arp supports internal midi on the ipad, so you could use it for instance for the animoog.RobTky wrote: By the way, I can see you are using "Synth Arp & Drum Pad" app on your IPAD. Also there is a synth included so that the program works without a hardware synth. These sounds are also quite good, but in the video i didn't use them.
If you want that program then buy the new one, it has more to offer and the price is the same, around three dollars if i recall correctly.
