Just tried out both your piano banks.
Didn't feel much for the Kawai, it lacks expressiveness and doesn't add much compared to the SGX grands...
But this one... well, if I close my eyes I get a flashback to my old home playing our old upright piano.
The fact that it's not perfectly tuned creates some authenticy to the sound. My dad, who's very sceptical towards digital piano's, is going to love this!
Thanks, Dmitry!

Mr Wizard,
Thanks a million. Great upright piano. I was asking for this some months ago and now you bring it to us free. With the CP-80 and this, my Kronos library is now complete!!

I agree - this is a fantastic sounding piano. Now I can play an authentic end to Faith No More's "Epic"

This is definitely the best sounding upright I ever heard within a workstation.
All people go nuts about the grands, but no-one cares for the uprights - up to now.
I also like the imperfection of the tuning - you really nailed it.
A slight bit of body is missing in the low end, at least for my taste - but that's just a tiny tweak on the EQ - not much!
I discovered that you really can shift the sound perfectly into "softer" or "brighter" with the pitch stretch parameter. No surprise actually, but rarely this worked so well and natural sounding for a piano before.
