Do I need to have PRELOAD.KSC in AutoLoad Global Settings checked all the time by default, in order to have all the sounds (all 9 engines)?

When I bought Kronos, I have this option checked from the factory.
What will happen if I uncheck this box,and just leave my custom KSC to be loaded automatically?

Then all samples referenced in the PRELOAD.KSC won't be loaded, resulting in several programs not producing any sound.

The PRELOAD.KSC loads all samples related to the programs and combi's in PRELOAD.PCG.

Uncheck the box, cycle the power, and find out. It really won't damage anything.

You will find that quite a few "engines" still produce sound, including some of the HD-1 programs.

I will try to uncheck and see what sounds and sample are missing.
But do I need to load this KSC bank in future or not?
Because it takes alot of ram memory.

I would like to know what is on PRELOAD.KSC or what happens when you check autoload KSC in the global setting.

In disk mode you van explore the preload.ksc file. Just open the file and you see what is in it.
