Just a quick question. Is there any way I can change the pitch bend range? I like to use a 24 step range down and a 2 step range up. In other words, I like to be able to to a bend down of 2 octaves and a bend of one tone upwards.
For me this is a lot like bending on a guitar plus having a whammy bar to do deep dives.
Is this possible on the P6ex?

@Hal2001: thanks!
@Bertotti: Yep, they were also created on a Mac. Normal pdf.
@jeremykeys: interesting question, have to dive into that one.
@Sparker: your welcome, more is on its way.

Next one will be about the Voice Assign Mode section, chords, pads, chord arpeggiation, etc.
Cheers,
Kris

PolysixEX Tutorial 6

Post by dongfang »

Hi Kronos PolysixEX Enthusiasts,

This time, it's a big one.
On the original Polysix, there is a module called Key Assign Mode.
This module has some interesting features.
On the Kronos it is called the Voice Assign Mode.
This tutorial explores this mode in more detail in the context of the PolysixEX.
Of course, the Voice Assign Mode can also be used with other synth engines.

PolysixEX Tutorial 6 - The Voice Assign Mode
In this tutorial you will learn:
  • 1. Programming a sound.
    2. Unison for a fat solo sound (incl. detune, thickness, stereo spread).
    3. Trills, slurs, and rolled arpeggios.
    4. Pads for Chord Mode (play chords with one key).
    5. Chord arpeggiation.
    6. Use SW1 to switch chord mode on/off.
    7. Infinite sustain with Hold.
    8. The joystick and VCF: change the sound while playing.
    9. Three more interesting experiments.
The tutorial contains many Kronos 'screenshots' to make it easier to follow.

Enjoy :D
