$1099.... for ultimate

thats insane.... really it is.

especially when you can get Komplete 8 ultimate for $400-$500 cheaper...

does 9 offer that much more?

Its not really insane at all when you consider what you get for the money, add up the cost of individual packages and it will be about $10000

Also Komplete 8 ultimate has only been on sale for a very short while to clear old stock

That said, I have komplete 8 ultimate, I could easily make do with the extras in Komplete 9 rather than Komplete 9 Ultimate.

Upgrade to Komplete 9 from komplete 8 is 149 Euros

What's the betting I cant half upgrade lol so that I get the new instruments in Komplete 9 for 149 Euros but keep all the Komplete 8 Ultimate stuff Smile

Wonder what my wife will say iafet my Kronos, Cubase 7 upgrade etc if I now say I want 399 Euros for ultimate 9, only one way to find out hehe.

For me the only intrest is Monark, so unfortionaly probably i will buy Monark separetly and wait until Koplite10

Monark s very interesting, but do not forget anout Uhe Diva, but i think they can be noth very cool because they share the sametop of the line DSP modeeling technology, but u know that even 2 the same Moogs might not sound identical, so i think they can be both good but just with a different sound flavor, but another reson why Monark can be a good addition to Uhe Diva is that it can be used in Reaktor with all it's possibilities and i can even modifi it.

I don't like the K8 Ultimate to K9 Ultimate upgrade price, too high. You get about 25% new content.

If you already have any "regular" Komplete an upgrade to the Ultimate edition is great.

Why dont they do a hardware synth of this and call it ultimate hardware fill of controllers, touch screen, connectivity etc etc... cant be hard if they sell so much software, they must be a rich company, its about time they brought out a hardware synth full of Komplete!!!!

Well... I presume this is the "Revolution"? Stopped at the first barricade me thinks - what happened to "One synth to rule them all"?

Battery 4 update, another Moog clone and a further bunch of libraries.

Considering the upgrade price, I find this very disappointing. Definately sticking to Komplete 7 Sad

Creating hardware is quite different than creating software.

you can do it now http://musiccomputing.com

but the base model is about 2 grand Twisted Evil u can load Komplete and anything u want.

P.s. If u want something less exansive then 2 grand then it is not possible because the hardwere for that price will be so crappy that u will have only a cou[ple of notes of poliphony

Year me too, i probably will wait until another Komplite, because there is nothing what interest me in Komplete 9. I want a new Reaktor, FM and etc...

I might buy Monark separetly though, but i want to try it first when their will be awailabe demo to try, because it is still unknown if Monark core cells are locked or no, or can i use some parts of Monark in my custom Reaktor projekts because if Monark will be locked, i do not see a porpuse for it. Because Reaktor is for creating anything u want and if Monark will be locked i won't buy it.

Just took the plunge and pre-ordered an update from Komplete 8 Ultimate to 9 Ultimate. A heafty 399 Euro - bloody hell.

There's lots on Komplete 8 Ultimate I already don't use (!) so this is an expensive and frustrating upgrade, but I usually try to keep all my software products up to date as a matter of course or they become out moded and unmanageable over time. Usually don't mind the ~ $100 level upgrade cost, so this is a very expensive one (and it had better be worth it!!)

And what new stuff would you really use in K9U that's not already in the normal K9 which is just $149? There's certainly nothing I need or would use more than just a quick play for the extra $250
