Whilst using the sequencer tonight, I experienced a complete lock-up of the system. MIDI was being transmitted to the Kronos over USB from Cubase - nothing particularly taxing, just two channels of light MIDI data. After about 30 minutes of use, the Kronos locked up completely with the following error:
I wasn't able to test whether the sound generator was still responding to local MIDI, as the crash took out Cubase with it too, possibly due to the ungraceful disconnection of the driver. The computer was still operative, just Cubase that crashed.
This is the second lock-up of the sequencer I've experienced in a week. The first one was using the sequencer with no external MIDI devices connected. In that case, the UI froze, but sound generation was still possible.
Has anyone experienced anything similar, and if so under what conditions?
This is on 3.0.2 and the latest sub firmware. [/img]
