So if I want to play a synth part and say have it drone out or not just play with long sustained notes I cannot do it for more than 4 bars without stopping the note I am playing. How hard is this for people to understand? Why do people not understand that this is useful to people that want to create ...

Wow some of you kids really need to learn synthesis...really some of the comments are just absurd and I realize why you guys think my suggestions are not needed.

I'm very surprised no one is talking about this. The MiniKP2S is really awesome IMHO. I have been using it for a month now to make samples while watching t.v. and it is so easy to use and sounds great. You can bounce the sample down with different effects over and over and get some really nice ...

Could you tell us more about the sounds? Samples, synths and fx? Do you think the Electribe 2 offers more options than an EMX? NO ! & furthermore, having tried the new machine, if i was presented with a brand new unit of each & told i could only pick one... Yup, i'd have the blue one. Ditto.

The amount of whining about 4 bars in the internet should wake them up and fix that in an update, but I don't know if Korg is one of those companies that actually listens to their customers. Korg will add 4 bars via firmware as soon as they're finished drilling an extra 4 holes, fitting new backlit ...

Man not having the 8 bars is really stopping me from being able to record long synth parts. Please, please please fix this it is driving me crazy!

So after having it a few weeks here are my feelings. The 4 bar limitation just plain kills my creativity on this. It is not possible to have a long crazy evolving synth part unless you break it up and re trigger the part. That will work for some people but any real keyboard player worth their salt ...

The not having 8 bars with it is killing me on this. It's my show stopper for sure as I knew it would be. Anyone that is a keyboard player will see there is no way to have a long evolving sequence unless you break up your note input. Sorry but the 4 bar movements are not cutting it for me.

It just basically adds a accent to certain parts of the pattern. I would have liked it better if you could manually pick them instead of being stuck in a preset manner.

Man after using it for a week this thing is super dope! The more and more I use it the better it gets. Let's all hope for the ability to stream files from the card like the Octatrack or SP404. That would solve the memory issue. It wouldn't solve anything because it's a RAM issue. I still want 8 bars, free running LFO's, micro timing, FLUX mode and insert effects to be able to be used with the pad with the lag/gap to be fixed and it will be THE perfect groovebox IMHO. Regarding to the japanese parameter guide, the LFO presets 25 - 30 and 61 - 72 are already free running ones ...

Do you feel that the synth sounds are editable enough to get some real sound variation, or does it feel more like a preset machine?
