I've yet to change the batteries on my Volca Kick, but i've changed them many times in my other Volcas and the memory does NOT get wiped.

A minor tweak would make me very happy... when you are writing a program, the name of the destination slot should be displayed as well as its number.

Add my thanks and praise for the Monologue...

Yep, using the onboard sequencer can be a bit hit and miss once you start using the roll Touch FX. You end up with all sorts of unwanted clicks if you are not on the money with your presses and releases. BUT, i've found by sequencing the notes on my Monologue and MIDI the two of them together, the ...

Thanks for the heads up. To think I was actually considering buying a second hand e2s! Now I can finally rid myself of my e2 and be done with korg's fake polyphony, crap updated sequencer, poor use interface, and all those bugs! Though, from what I hear, akai are just as bad with regard to bugs ...

I wasn't talking about using 8 bar samples in 4 bar patterns or anything like that. I mean things like having a crash cymbal triggering on the last 16th step of a pattern instead of the first. That is a fair enough thing to ask, no? Sometimes you don't want it to trigger "on the one", you want it a ...

And you're the only smart one right? The genius that cannot use his machine because of a fundamental flaw renders the device completely useless. The flaw that nobody else has noticed. The flaw that prevents you making music on a machine that nobody else has a problem making music on. And we're the ...

I don't have any Electribes anymore, but i've got all 3 of the first generation Pocket Operators. They are just a whole heap of fun. Don't expect fat analogue lushness to come out of them, but if you like digital/glitchy/chiptune sounds then you'll love 'em. It doesn't take long to learn them (and ...

I sold my Electribe 2 Sampler pretty much for this very reason, samples being cut off on pattern change. However clever you get with insert FX from one pattern to the next will NOT solve this. It's up to you to engineer your patterns for smooth changes from one to the next, so that means no slowly ...

Ah okay I see what you mean. I would maybe consider getting the E2 myself if I could get a good deal second hand. I'm not sure I would pay full price just for some additional filters and deeper synth engine, I'd probably just buy a different synth in that case, unless the sound was vastly different ...

The sampler has stereo audio in on a single 1/8th inch jack. The incoming audio can pass straight through to the outputs or sent through the filter/insert fx/master fx chain.

I've got an OP-1. Beautifully engineered slab of non-orthodox inspiration. My limited musicality means i rely on it for happy accidents more than anything else, and there are plenty of them to be had. It's different to any Korg gear i've used, the 4-track tape recorder is pretty unforgiving (no undo ...

Hey apapdop ,this is like, uncool by the sounds. What's better I wonder, amp mod or pattern chains? It makes me hesitant when I receive one (FM -soon). Before the update, changing to a different pattern whilst playing back cut off the tail of the outgoing pattern, even if the incoming pattern used ...

Amplitude modulation seems to work after the OS upgrade. Changing patterns whilst sequencer is playing now produces a lovely audible "click" on the first note of the incoming pattern too!! Pretty much renders the new exciting Pattern Chain function useless...
