What's new in the 1.02 OS ?
I can't manage to find any informations on the website ...

Amplitude modulation seems to work after the OS upgrade. Changing patterns whilst sequencer is playing now produces a lovely audible "click" on the first note of the incoming pattern too!! Pretty much renders the new exciting Pattern Chain function useless...

Hey apapdop ,this is like, uncool by the sounds.
What's better I wonder,amp mod or pattern chains?
It makes me hesitant when I receive one (FM -soon).

Before the update, changing to a different pattern whilst playing back cut off the tail of the outgoing pattern, even if the incoming pattern used the same voice. It's the new Electribe Pattern Change Problem all over again. Prior to the update, if you were using notes with little or no release, you could get away with it but now it seems to click whatever.

Amplitude modulation is an important part of FM, so it's good to have it working properly. You can get plenty of mileage from one pattern with Warp Active Step, transpose/velocity sliders and motion sequencing etc. Or just sequence it with something else!?!? It sounds bloody marvellous, especially through some external fx.
