I have an 01W and the previous post is correct about the procedure. The sequencer is a bit limited when it comes to the effects you can have on the programs, so you won't be able to have the Feedbacker guitar effects and the piano effects in the same sequence. I don't have a solution for you if it ...

I just started using Reaper a couple weeks ago after reading about it here. I'm a newb when it comes to audio production, but I found it easy to get around and understand the basics without sifting through manuals. There's a lot of options in there that are way over my head, but it was simple enough ...

I have much the same view as Gargamel on the orchestral sounds. I only use a few of the piano sounds, but there are many to choose from. I was pretty impressed with a couple of them and the others I could do without. That's how these sounds go though. It's very subjective and I may like something ...

I've used the "resampling to .wav" approach and the results are usually pretty good. Some of my songs come out sounding duller than they do coming straight from the sequence, but if you import it into your computer for editing, you can polish it up a bit. I've found that if I have the sequence mixed ...

The rear left corner on mine is cracked. I bought it used and I believe it occurred during shipping. Fortunately, it didn't affect anything. It's just a bit of plastic that was damaged, so I don't really care. I was surprised to see the sides of the Triton Extreme built in such a fragile manner. It ...

Master and EQ with TEX
How do you go about mastering with your Triton Extreme? I'm very new to this aspect of music production, but after reading up on it a bit I have realized the importance of this process. Now, I know there is a lot of information in the Mixing and Mastering Forum here, but my question is more specific ...

Ahem, I'm a little late entering this thread, but I just had to comment. I've had an 01/W FD from the early 90's too and just picked up a Triton Extreme. While I haven't gone through all the sounds yet, I must say that the choirs and some of the string patches have not found a rival on the Triton. I ...

Re: What to do?
What to do when you're sick of your song... Well, you could do what I do and just keep starting a new song so that you have 30 or 40 that never get finished! Jesus, can't I relate to this? I've got tons of unfinished songs. The closer I get... the easier I'm distracted and the more I willing to be ...

I've seen this site listed for parts. I know they have the touch screen and it sounds like they could get whatever else you may need. Good luck with it.

Wow, I just started reading these forums and I'm surprised to see a few of you reminiscing on the 01/W. I've had an 01/W for about 15 years now and I'm still writing with it. I can't believe it has been that long. What is it that sticks out to you about the 01/W? It's the only keyboard I've ever had ...
