I LOVE Figure! I wish they'd expand and update the synths and kits etc, it's totally addictive, but productive too. I start most of my tracks as figure ideas and audio copy into Garageband or something.

Electribe EMX2 - What are you using yours for/as?

So I was wondering what you guys are actually doing with your E2's?

Stand alone groove box?

Heartbeat of a small studio? Midi Sync other gear from it?

Drum machine? Synth? Are you linking it up to other stuff....iPad, other synths etc.

How does it fit in to what you have, or not!

Just listened to the Novation sound sets and I am much more impressed. A few dubstep bass demos on YouTube don't do it justice, but the novation sound pack does show it off.

Is it two part multi timbral?

The Blofeld is based on wave table synthesis while the pulse is as analogue mono interested in Pulse waves. You get elements of the Q and microwave with the Blofeld and its capable of more spectral type sounds ,well wave table type sounds -more digital in a good way. I've got to say the filters look ...

I have been checking out the Blofeld today actually, it does look/sound immense. How does it differ from the Pulse 2? I am also torn between say buying a new Blofeld/MiniNova (warranty etc) or a used Miniak/Micron. Used Synth buying via ebay etc from the Isle of Man is a risk if arrives DOA unless I ...

the Micron and Miniak look amazing "bang for buck", multi timbral aspect is very cool, some excellent analog sounds, but in the dems I listened to I didn't really hear those big trancey supersaws or pads I'm looking for. Maybe they just aren't in the demos? The Streicfett sounds cool too. I still ...

Or you can control it from e2 via midi. thanks, I'll do some YouTubeing of the Streich tonight. I do have midi keyboards. I have previously considered the Waldorf rocket ...

gadget is an awesome app, only problem is my iPad is too old and therefore gets glitchy after about 6 parts, sooner if I use mucho polyphony. If someone would just make gadget into hardware..... I intend to hook it up with my E2. I get about 20 parts on my iPad Air 1. It's a massive improvement ...

I have Massive, but I dislike making music at a PC. I am a Cellist, so I like to play an instrument. An E2 is an instrument, a Macbook Pro is a Computator! I'm with you there buddy! I just want to find a smallish keys with those "massive" synth sounds. I'd thought of MiniNova and MicroKorg, not sure ...
