Nah - I screwed uo

I was testing yesterday with an arpeggiated patch on the Micro Q with other stuff going on at the same time. It's actually recording stuttered so I think I need to get rid of the loopback and merge the two at the as previously thought.

Heading off to ebay now!

Many thanks for the info. Yes - I'd tried changing the battery type but same issue. I will try some more cycles on the rechargeable and maybe pick up some Duracell non rechargeables today and see what transpires.

Once again thanks for the feedback, much appreciated

E2 Battery Problems

I've googled for this and can't find anything. I bought some new batteries for my E2 - put them (they were not a budget brand) in and when I switched it on it basically powered straight down. Odd. So I then tried some rechargeable batteries. This time they showed as fully charged but within a minute ...

Re: volca upgrade

Recommended little equipment. Shruthi: DIY but eBay often has assembled new or secondhand (at least in UK) Electribe Novation Circuit Preen FM - same situation as circuit The circuit and electribe would give you drums as well as synths. The electribe would be easier to sync with the volcas In the UK ...

I am not trying to upset people, I'm just talking. I love the circuit so much more than the Electribe. It's simpler, it's more immediate. And I'm willing to understand I just need to understand the Electribe more but the killer is really I don't like the sounds. I can't make them sound 'deep'. Yes ...

Many thanks immune and thesigma for the replies. I'll have a mull about buying a dedicated MIDI box. Trying to make a small portable OTB system so the smaller amounts of hardware the better. Thinking I should maybe live with the electribe as the main controller for a while and see how it fits before ...

Trying to fake midi thru with an EMX2

I have an EMX 2 - it is connected via a midi thru box (one midi in, five midi out) and various midi thru ports to a Novation Circuit, four volcas, a shruthi, a preenfm2 and a Waldorf MicroQ. I have removed the partridge and the pear tree from my setup for the moment. I want to play notes via an ...

Dead blue LED on e2

I bought a secondhand e2 from Music Matters in the UK this week but when I tried it today I found that the last pad's blue LED is not working. Purple doesn't work either so I assume there are just the red and blue and the blue is faulty. Some basic googling didn't turn this up as being a common ...

Volca Bass review OK I've spent an evening playing with the Volca Bass and am really pleasantly surprised by the differences which it offers compared to the Keys, with the conclusion that they are more different than I had thought they would be. I got the bass first and loved it. Loved it so much ...

The hardware form factor is the thing. The limitations of the form factor makes you more focussed I think. You put your samples on at the beginning but it's a PITA to keep uploading new ones whilst using the box so you work with what you have. You're constrained more than a DAW with what you can do ...
