You’ll learn one day sharp that a personal attack on me (or anyone else who dares to disagree with you) will not change any of your words regarding seniors. You were saying the same sort of things about older people who own Yamaha keyboards, years ago. Criticism of other keyboards, although not p ...

Also, there are two different PDF manuals, not just one. There is a reference guide and a quick guide. Both available from KORGPA.COM

If you continue to have problems with your keyboard joystick and the problem is soldered joints or broken flexible wiring, it’s probably easier and much quicker to fix it yourself. If you are careful, you can easily do these small jobs. Make sure that any flexible cable you use is the correct type, ...

double manual

I thought some of you might be interested in my present home set up. For the last few months, I’ve been playing the PA600 with an old Yamaha YPR-9 keyboard (that I happened to have, although you can pick these up for around £40 or £50 if you can find them. they were hundreds when first sold ) fitted ...

Too many people accept hardware or software problems as part of the game. If you pay a fair amount of cash (or credit) for an article, you should get a fair return from the retailer or manufacturer. I don’t know how the law works in Ireland or elsewhere, but in UK there is an act called “The sale of ...

Although some UK stores have added about £50 to the price of the pa600, the pa600 is still available at the old price (£799) in others. The only reason I can think of is a shortage of supply or an increased demand or both, unless Korg have increased the price to their retail outlets.

Ever since user manuals were written in foreign languages, most manufacturers who produce foreign language manuals have been making the same mistake. Instead of employing a sensible native speaker (of the intended foreign language) to write the manual, they use a translator who has learnt the ...

If the Microarranger uses 9 Watts and the voltage is 12 volts, divide the watts by the volts (Ohms Law), and this will be the current (amps) that the keyboard needs. Therefore, 9 (watts) divided by 12 (volts) = 0.75 (amps). Therefore, the Microarranger will need a 12 volt power supply that provides ...

It’s probably a forlorn hope but, you could try moving the offending songbook from your keyboard, to your computer, and then open it in the songbook editor, just to see if the missing songs are merely hidden and not lost altogether.

songbook

Here is something that you can do with songbook. First, make sure that you have the favourite banks filled with styles that you like. Then go to your computer and open any songbook in the songbook editor (you can drag and drop the songbook onto the editor providing the songbook file is opened as far ...

If you want the lower to play continuously, you need to go to GLOBAL, then MENU, then Mode Preferences (style), then Memory Mode, then choose, Chord +Lower. If you don’t want the bass, then un-check, Bass & Lower Backing (directly below Memory Mode). Another way to lose the accompaniment is to turn t ...

Tony, I think you would be well advised to wait until after your upcoming gig. The operating system update alone will not affect your styles and sounds etc. but Korg are recommending that you also update the musical resources. This will load all the factory styles and sounds etc. (korg say they have ...

You will probably have to adjust your keyboard clock (global) after the update. It reverts to 1st Jan 2012.
